My dear brethren,
Fraternal greetings,
The Brethren of Bhopal, under the able stewardship of V.W. Bro. Girish Wagh and new team of ARGM’s W.Bro.Prabhat Kumar, W.Bro.Prakash Gangrade and W.Bro.Kapil Deo Sharma, JW and Organising Secretary, have once again extended their legendary hospitality in hosting the Special Meeting of the Regional Grand Lodge of Western India on 28th and 29th September 2024 at Bhopal.
I have taken away many fine memories of Masonic Meetings at Bhopal including its hospitality and traditional welcome in poetic words and hope to add many more to these first of my meetings after being installed as the Deputy Regional Grand Master of Western India.
We look forward to witness the various awards being presented to the talented Brethren, young and old.
There are quite a few of the historical monuments and places in and around Bhopal. At the same time the scenic beauty of nature all around rightly gives Bhopal the name “City of Lakes”. I am sure the brethren will plan tour around the city and take advantage of this special meeting and visit them.
While urging all brethren to register and attend it is worth remembering that as always, our Masonic ladies are an integral part of our lives and their participation in our fraternal celebration is always solicited. History has witnessed that for many generations the erstwhile kingdom of Bhopal was ruled by a succession of Begums. This alone should encourage the attendance and participation of ladies at the festivities accompanying the forthcoming event.
