Message from M.W. The Grand Master of Grand Lodge of India.


My dear brethren,
Fraternal greetings,
I am glad to learn that the Regional Grand Lodge of Western India has decided to hold its Special Meetings of Regional Grand Lodge of Western India on 28th and 29th September 2024 at Bhopal. Bhopal is the capital city of the State of Madhya Pradesh which is also known as the City of Lakes, due to presence of various natural and artificial lakes in the City. It is also one of the greenest cities in India.

The ethical foundation of Freemasonry, it moral content and social fabric make it respectable and honourable as well. Devoted to the services of God and man, Freemasonry had come to be preserved over the ages with greater strength, vitality and nobility. In the Western Region, RW Bro Subhash Laxman Saraf has taken over as the new Regional Grand Master. I am happy that the new Regional Grand Master has taken charge of the Western Region with a vision of service to humanity and development of the Region by increasing membership and also adding new stations. In this endeavour, he has started the project of awareness of the Thalassemia and decided to hold his first Half Yearly Meeting at Bhopal one of the most active Masonic Centre in Western Region. There are many Masonic stalwarts in Bhopal and I am sure with the presence of so many seasoned Masons this meeting will be a grand success. The choice of V.W.Bro.Girish Wagh as organizing Chairman and W.Bro.Kapil Deo Sharma as Organising Secretary is an excellent choice and I wish and hope under their leadership Organising Committee will do a good job.

The Brethren of Bhopal, have, time and again, proved their capability in organizing such events, I am confident, they will rise up to the occasion once again and justify to confidence reposed in them by their Regional Grand Master in making this event a great success and one to be remembered by those attending the meet for a long time to come.
I wish them all success in their endeavours.
